Showcasing breathtaking ocean views Wombarra Blue is perched on the desired beach side of the road with the sand only a 3 minute stroll from the back door. A playing field and playground for toddlers is even closer. Guests regularly comment on the healing sounds of the rhythmic waves at night and the chance sighting of whales and dolphins in the day that seem to build on the experience of relaxation here.
Wombarra Beach is a unique village which offers the best of both worlds; it is nestled adjacent to the Northern Illawarra escarpment but is also situated adjacent to magnificent patrolled surfing beaches and rock pools of family discovery. Wombarra Blue is ideally located providing the guest a wonderful Coastal Lifestyle experience. One would think you are days from Sydney rather than only an hour from its southern suburbs!
There are four mainly large sized Bedrooms with beautifully appointed furniture, high comfort mattresses and an interior ambience designed for premium guest satisfaction. The House sleeps a maximum of 10 guests with two bathrooms and 3 toilets. You can even relax in a bath so designed to soak in the ocean view!
King and Queen Bedrooms have TV and added DVD players to enjoy the movie library on offer . The privately positioned Master bedroom is perched high with it’s own private balcony with views to die for!
Two separate living rooms upstairs and one downstairs with large surround sound TV/DVD means that there is a place for everyone to relax and enjoy down time whilst on holidays. This property is also fully zoned with air conditioning, the option of ceiling fans throughout.
Add to this a beautifully appointed Caesarstone Kitchen with all the modern conveniences of cooktop, oven, microwave, coffee machine, sandwich grill, dishwasher and fridge freezer with ice and water dispenser at your beck and call.
The open plan design lets you mingle with your fellow guests and family whether they be in the dining or living areas.
The tiled panoramic ocean balcony becomes a favourite meeting spot to read, sunbake or entertain with the large BBQ and an outdoor dining table seating 8 comfortably in a part sheltered design.

Summary: We had an awesome stay at Wombarra Blue last week. Tracey was an amazing host, communicating with us promptly from the beginning. The property was very clean with stunning sea views from the living room. The house was very comfortable with all the amenities as per the listing. We had a wonderful time celebrating our son's birthday with the family. Highly recommend this place for a relaxed getaway !

Summary: Lovely property - great kitchen and bbq for meals on the deck. Wonderful waking up to those morning views. Good location walking distance to the bowlo and the scarborough hotel. Lovely stroll down to beach also. Would definitely return

Summary: This was a perfect get away for us. The view alone was worth it. Proximity to the ocean meant we could soak in the views every day - even the overcast days added to the dramatic scenery.

Summary: The ad for this property is very misleading. We arrived expecting a charming, well-appointed, immaculate property and found a tired, old cottage. While everything worked and was clean, this property just had a feeling of needing an overhaul, which made the experience disappointing - particularly when it’s priced as if it’s just been freshly done. I’d reckon the photos are 5-10 years old (given the growth of trees in the pictures) and the property definitely feels 5-10 years older than what the ad portrays. The blinds are stained and dirty, the paint is chipped and falling off, the floorboards are BADLY worn, and the outdoor deck is falling apart to the point where it’s dangerous (my gently daughter leaned on the wirings and the rusted hinges popped out of the wood - she could have dropped from a second story had we not been there to grab her.) The advert refers to 3 toilets - and yes, while a 3rd toilet does exist, it’s in a dungeon under the house full of graffiti. This may be fine for personal use, but I certainly don’t want to pay premium beachside prices for a bathroom that belongs in a dirty nightclub. Finally, the location, while described as a quaint neighbourhood, the house overlooks 3 old, worn, in need of repair properties with barking dogs and rubbish in the yards. Not a view I’d sign up for if I could choose. Finally the beautiful view from the ad photos is now partially blocked by a new house built between this property and the ocean. Finally, while the property was well stocked, many of the supplies were a bit worn. Frying pans should be thrown out, towels are frayed, and when we didn’t get any dish towels and I requested some be dropped off I didn’t get a response from the property management. Overall, we stay in lots of vacation properties and this one was very disappointing. I do not recommend.
